In a partnership with Finning UK, Hercules Hydraulics have been awarded the contract to undertake the re-propulsion of the M.O.D. Minesweeper fleet

Hercules Hydraulics are able to provide hydraulic equipment and hydraulic systems for any sailing vessel, including classic yachts.

Ports / Harbours

We have worked with several port or harbour authorities in both providing hydraulic equipment and maintaining their own harbour vessels. 

A recent upgrade of the passenger gangways and vehicle loading ramp at Guernsey harbour, involving the reconditioning of both the power packs and hydraulic cylinders has been completed by Hercules Hydraulics.

Commercial Fishing

Fleets Across The UK

Commercial fishing was where Hercules Hydraulics started its life in 2004. We understand the market and the terminology used. 

We now support the local fleet as well as fishing fleets all over the UK with hydraulic engineers available 24 hours a day 365 days a year as well as providing equipment such as Anchor Winches, Conveyor Systems, Hydraulic Shooting Doors, Pot Haulers, Capstans and Hydraulic Hatches.

Individual Systems

Hercules Hydraulics have been installing hydraulic propulsion units including drives, bow and stern thrusters in canal boats for many years.

Taking technology developed for the commercial sector we have built a reputation for innovative hydraulic solutions and are now considered to be the market leaders in this sector

Each vessel is completely individual and requires a bespoke system to suit.

Hercules Hydraulics have been designing hydraulic propulsion systems for Brtitish Waterways since 2004.

As well as being their sole supplier we have provided servicing and maintenance support for hydraulic installations on their vessels.

Whilst much of our work centres on hydraulics for the marine industry, this is not our exclusive domain.

We work in any area of industry where hydraulic equipment provides a solution.

Equipment includes hydraulic scissor lifts, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic presses whilst repairs can be carried out on-site or at our premises with servicing and maintenance contract available.

Our vast stock of hydraulic parts allows us to offer an efficient support service to the local agricultural industry via our sales department and trade counter.

Hydraulic hoses, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic control valves, hydraulic pumps and hydraulic motors are just some of the components we stock plus we have access to parts supplied by other key hydraulic equipment manufacturers. 

Mobile Plant

Maintenance

On-site hydraulic servicing and maintenance is essential for mobile plant operators as moving heavy equipment is both difficult and expensive.

Our support vehicles are equipped with hydraulic test equipment plus an on-site hose manufacturing facility, whilst hydraulic cylinders may be returned to our premises for repair.
